the chopper is ready to go and tomorow I will run my first demo around Caldwell in Idaho. Idaho is after California and Wisconsin the third biggest dairy region in the US, so that most of the chopping around here is done for cows. Chopping quality will be more demanded than in Texas. But now something about my 1400 miles roadtrip:
After leaving Fort Morgan on thursday morning, I hit the road through Denver and the Rockies. Unfortunately the weather was very bad, so that I couldn't see anything of the mountains. When I arrived in Utah, it was clearing up and I could take some nice pictures. Here are some impressions about the trip. Check out the good milages of my new vehicle, sponsored by MAN.
On Sunday my collegue Steve Barger showed me the region and my customers for this week in about 5500 ft height. He has a little airplane and took me for a flight. It was really interesting to see all those big dairies and the pivot irrigations, which they are also using in this region. When you look close, you should see those. Thanks a lot for the trip, Steve! It was really cool!
Pilot Steve and Co-Pilot BiG MAN looking forward to a succesful week of demonstrations in Idaho. I will keep you up to date what's going on!
All the best from Idaho,
Benedikt
